Google setting up to integrate Gemini Live into Android Auto

Samsung brings an actual hype of AI by introducing its innovative AI-based package called Galaxy AI. Now other brands in the tech industry are also looking forward to expanding their ways to the AI era. Google is all set to expand the Gemini ways to Android Auto, as it is integrating its AI assistant into the service.
Android Auto is your smart driving companion developed by Google that mirrors the features of a smartphone on a car’s dashboard. Now Google is actively working on expanding the facilities of Android Auto by integrating its AI assistant ‘Gemini.’
Google’s new AI-powered digital assistant is expected to replace Google Assistant in different Google apps and services, including Android Auto. Google is bringing the advanced capabilities of Gemini to the car’s infotainment system.
It’s being speculated by a recent version of Android Auto with the version number v12.8.143544. The presence of the typical Gemini’shimmer’ icon would effectively suggest its imminent arrival. Gemini could therefore replace Google Assistant in the future, with the consequent introduction of new features authorized by AI.
The newly spotted icon sports a monochrome look, as the color gradient details are present in the other XML file. The icon file’s name contains different words, including “kitt,” “live,” and “Start Conversation,” which seems as the name of the Gemini integration within Android Auto and probably be activated using voice commands.
Currently, Gemini Live is exclusive to Gemini Advanced subscribers, but it doesn’t require specific hardware. This points out that many Android Auto users could be able to access it, regardless of their smartphone model. However, Google has yet to officially confirm this.
