Samsung Ends One UI Software Support for Select Galaxy Phones and Tablets

Samsung has just introduced the details of its latest September 2024 Android security bulletin for the entire Galaxy ecosystem. This significantly brought up plenty of fixes for Android security-related vulnerabilities in the form of CVEs and SVEs from both Samsung and Google.
Meanwhile, alongside releasing the latest security bulletin details, Samsung has also revealed that a few devices have been removed from the SMR list while also adding the Galaxy A06 to the Samsung SMR and shifting the Galaxy Note 20 lineup from the monthly security update list to the quarterly security update list.
Samsung Ended Software Support for Selected Galaxy Devices
Generally, Samsung removes its Galaxy devices once they reach their software update limitations.
Samsung has removed a few Galaxy models from its latest SMR details, which means the company has certainly ended the software support for these devices. These Galaxy devices include Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy M31s, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Thus, Samsung has ended the life of all these models, and therefore they will not receive the software update for now on.
Accompanied by ensigning the life or software support for all the aforementioned models, Samsung has newly-added the Galaxy A06 to the SMR list while also shifting the Galaxy Note 20 series, including both the 4G and 5G variants of the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, from monthly security updates to the quarterly security updates list.
