Samsung has secretly offered an ultra-high-definition audio feature to the Galaxy S24 series. The new UHQ feature is supported on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 Update Adds UHQ Audio to Buds 3 Pro

While pairing with the Galaxy S24 series, a user acknowledges a newly added UHQ toggle within settings. You can enable this feature in settings. It will deliver audio quality quite close to the actual sound with a sample rate of 96 kHz. Although it is possible that in particular scenarios, sound delay may occur in some applications. Noticeably, using the premium sound quality option will boost battery usage.

The ultra-high-definition audio is an advanced sound quality option that will cause an increase in battery consumption. The reason behind this is additional heavy processing. However, it’s a convenient feature that will offer you a seamless listening experience.

Currently, the feature is only available in the South Korean markets since the company released it along with One UI 6.1.1. The brand has just begun the One UI 6.1.1 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series in its home country, but it’s expected that soon it will expand the availability of the update widely.
