
Samsung has started dispatching the September 2024 security update to its devices, while the majority of them have already been enjoying it in several regions so far. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series units are again getting refreshed with the update, but this time the update is for the carrier-unlocked models in the US.
To recall, the company just updated the Galaxy S21 lineup, including the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra on more carriers in the US, while this time, the update for the carrier-unlocked models can be identified by the G991U1UESCGXH, G996U1UESCGXH, and G998U1UESCGXH1 respectively.
Feature-wise, this update is simply a minor security patch that has arrived with several security-related improvements to the device’s overall security that will offer a more safe and secure environment to the users all while protecting their device from several external harms and attacks.
In addition, the update further includes some key enhancements to the device’s functionality by offering various bug fixes, adding stability and reliability, and improving the device’s behaviour through certain performance optimisations in order to provide a more stable, smooth, and optimised performance to the users.
Moreover, Samsung is currently rolling out the update in the US, while it’s expected that the update will follow the other eligible regions soon.
