Samsung has been constantly delivering two different updates—the One UI 6.1.1 and the September 2024 security update—to its Galaxy phones and tablets simultaneously. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 5G has already received the September 2024 security update in European and Asian regions; it’s now time for the device to get the update in the Latin American countries.
The Galaxy A55 5G starts receiving the September 2024 security update that carries the A556EXXS4AXH5 software version in a few Latin American countries, including Chile, Argentina, Panama, and Brazil.
The update is currently live in all the aforementioned regions, while it’s expected to reach the other eligible countries soon.
Meanwhile, this security update significantly brings several key improvements to the device’s security to provide a more safe and secure environment to the users while also protecting the device from certain external harms by making it capable enough to deal with every odd security-related issue.
Also, the update further adds certain key enhancements to the device’s overall functionality along with resolving some known issues, fixing bugs, applying the latest security patches, adding stability and reliability to the device’s behaviour, optimising performance, and delivering new features in order to offer a more smooth, stable, and optimised software experience to the users.
