Samsung Pauses One UI 6.1.1 Update for Galaxy S24
Samsung is actively busy expanding its Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update to its more eligible Galaxy smartphone. On another note, it paused the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24.
Recently, Samsung paused the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 since right after installing the update, the Galaxy S23 users started facing camera glitch issues at particular zoom levels, and the rollout has yet to resume. However, now the company is working on offering a new camera update to fix this issue.
Jumping on the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has paused the One UI 6.1.1 update but without any apparent issue. A tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, reports that the update has removed its latest stable build for both the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 from its servers.
The reason for the Galaxy S23 is a camera glitch, but the reason behind pausing the update for the Galaxy S24 has yet to clear. As yet, there’s no major report of a bug or anything coming into existence. Despite the lack of any issue, Samsung has paused the update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra without even specifying the exact issue it encountered in the new version.
However, it’s expected that Samsung will resume the update as soon as possible. It remains to be seen how much time the company will take to resume the update, and the renewed version of the One UI 6.1.1 will bring what new fixes.
