Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 update rollout has to suffer from a pause right after the Galaxy S23 owners faced sudden camera glitches soon after installing the update, but the company has not stopped from delivering the September 2024 security update to more Galaxy phones and tablets. Meanwhile, now the Galaxy S24 series is getting refreshed with the September 2024 security update in Canada.

As of now, the September 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 lineup is available in the US. Now, the update is reaching for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in Canada that carries the firmware versions S921WVLS3AXHFS926WVLS3AXHF, and S928WVLS3AXHF, respectively.

Although this fresh update measures 438.43 MB, it significantly brings some crucial improvements to the device’s overall security in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, resolves certain known issues, fixes bugs, and secures devices from various external harms.

In addition, it packs certain key enhancements for the device’s overall functionality, brings stability to the device’s behavior, adds performance optimizations, delivers new and enhanced features, applies the updated Android security patches, all while keeping the device secure, and provides a smooth, stable, and optimized software experience to the users.

Moreover, Samsung will soon expand the September 2024 security update’s availability for the Galaxy S24 lineup to more eligible countries in the next few days.
