New One UI 6.1.1 Update for Galaxy S23 Ultra Could Resolve Camera Issues and Improve Stability

Samsung has initially begun rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update with the Galaxy S24 series, further expanding the version to more older Galaxy flagships, including the Galaxy S23 lineup. However, Samsung has to pull back this existing firmware for the Galaxy S23 owners. Meanwhile, a new update has just been released that probably brings the Galaxy S23 Ultra camera stability.
The One UI 6.1.1 firmware update brought a horrible issue for the Galaxy S23’s (only the Ultra model) cameras, which was wreaking with zooming performance of cameras. Thus, Samsung paused the update further to resolve the camera glitch.
Now, the company has released a new update (One UI 6.1.1-based One UI 6.1) for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in South Korea that comes with the S918NKSU4CXI1 firmware version and measures 376.82 MB. This update further integrates the September 2024 security patch.

Meanwhile, the update seems to fix the camera zoom performance weird mess-up, specifically ghosting pictures that are captured at zoom between 16x and 19.9x while also bringing stability to the overall performance of the camera system. Although the other two phones, including the Galaxy S23 and S23+, remain unaffected by this camera issue.
Additionally, the update further integrates the September 2024 security patch that helps to add some additional yet key improvements to the device’s security to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, all while protecting the device from external harms.
Lastly, the newest stability update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is now rolling out in South Korea, while it will be further followed up to other eligible regions soon.
