Samsung SmartThings Framework Update Causes Bootloops on Several Older Galaxy Phones

It’s considered that Samsung has always been consistent when it comes to providing software updates to its entire Galaxy ecosystem. Since updates significantly make the device’s overall functionality more smooth and less prone to bugs and other issues, this doesn’t seem to be true this time, as a few users, especially the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series, have observed their phones get stuck in repetitive booting (bootloops) after installing the latest update.
In the recent past, Galaxy users have been witnessing an increasing amount of reports that significantly suggest that their phones get stuck into the repetitive booting procedure, probably after installing the SmartThings Framework update.
A few users on Reddit, rbthompsonv and mikethespike056, took it to the platform to inform that they, along with the other Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and Galaxy Note 10+ owners, have reported that their phones have been stuck into the repetitive booting process, probably after initiating the overnight update pushed to the SmartThings Framework app.
Apparently, there are updated reports flashing online that suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M51 and A90 appear to be affected as well. Coincidentally, the bootloop issue in these aforementioned phones appears just after the owners have initiated the SmartThings Framenwork app update.
Moreover, the reports have further confirmed that the bootloop issue on the above-listed Galaxy handsets seems to be appearing globally, as it’s currently present in South Korea, the US, Singapore, Australia, Belgium, France, Indonesia, and Germany. However, there was no such information that processing the factory reset would resolve the issue.
Hopefully, Samsung could have already acknowledged the issue and might release some key fixes that will resolve this bootloop issue as soon as possible.
