Samsung Galaxy S22 Series and A54 Receive October 2024 Security Patch

With the forthcoming One UI 7 version still on the waitlist, Samsung is rapidly moving with the October 2024 security update. As of now, several devices have been enjoying the new monthly security; meanwhile, the company is offering the October 2024 security update to the 2022 Galaxy phones, the Galaxy S22 series, and the Galaxy A54 5G in Europe. 

Soon after delivering the October 2024 security update to the Galaxy S23 series, the update now reaches the Galaxy S22 lineup and the Galaxy A54 5G in Europe. 

The October 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra has S901BXXSCEXI4S906BXXSCEXI4, and S908BXXSCEXI4 firmware versions, while packing an update size of 291.60 MB.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A54 5G is also getting the same update that can be identified with the A546BXXSACXI3 version number and measures 277.24 MB

The October 2024 security update significantly brings various key improvements to the device’s overall security while also fixing certain security-related vulnerabilities, resolving certain known issues, and fixing several bugs and other flaws in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, all while protecting the device from external harms. 

In addition, the update even adds plenty of other relevant enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, brings stability and improvements to the device’s behavior, optimizes software performance, delivers much improved features,and applies the latest security patches to provide a more stable, smooth, and optimized software experience to the users. 

Lastly, Samsung has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy A54 5G in some European countries, while the other eligible regions will follow it soon.
