The October 2024 security update for the carrier-unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 comes with the F946U1UES4DXI9 and F731U1UES4DXI9 firmware versions, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are getting the same update that can be identified with the F956U1UES1AXIB and F741U1UES1AXIB version numbers.
Meanwhile, this security patch significantly introduces several key improvements to the device’s security, resolves certain known bugs and issues, brings stability to the device’s behavior, fixes security-related issues, and applies the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, all while keeping the device safe from external threats.
