Samsung expands its health wellbeing mission by introducing some empowering yet health management updates to the Samsung Health app.
Samsung, no doubt, is always engaged in making the health routines of the Galaxy audience more powerful via its seamless connected ecosystem. Over the past years, Samsung has tried to fuse the fragmented health features or data into a single platform, and that’s only made possible via the Samsung Health app.
Recently, Samsung officially made an announcement that it’s significantly expanding the health and wellness management capabilities to the Samsung Health app by introducing an effective medication tracking system, including the regular food intake that will allow users to easily access and track their health records with much more convenience.
Beginning today, a new health record feature that will guide users by providing meaningful insights and alerts, as this specialized health data integration will help users suggest their next step; a new and advanced medication tracking feature that allows users to track their medications, potential side effects of drugs (medications), or food, after the US is now expanding to more regions, including South Korea and India.
Lastly, expanding to major countries, effective and effortless food intake tracking via barcode scanning is also added within the Samsung Health app update. With the new barcode scanning, one can receive some necessary nutritional information automatically in the app just by scanning the food barcodes.
Further, Samsung stated that this barcode feature will be initially available in the US, followed by expansion in the European market, including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland.
Moreover, Samsung is aiming for a comprehensive health and wellness technology that will offer Galaxy users a more personalized and smarter experience of everyday health. Meanwhile, all the aforementioned health management features added with the Samsung Health app update will definitely help users to have an impactful experience by integrating Galaxy AI and other innovations.
