Samsung is expanding the availability of its irregular heart rhythm notification feature in Malaysia. Here’s the list of regions where the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature is available.
Samsung announced the availability of the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature on the Samsung Health Monitor app in Malaysia. The company has already rolled out the feature in a dozen regions.
Combined with the app’s blood pressure and electrocardiogram monitoring, the IHRN feature detects heart rhythms that may indicate atrial fibrillation (AFib). This helps users gain a better understanding of their overall heart health.
The new IHRN feature warns the user of potential AFib activity by checking for irregular heart rhythms in the background. Users can gain detailed insights into their cardiovascular health.
Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature availability
Samsung introduced this feature back in 2020. Since its launch, the company has made it available in 74 markets. More than 15 million Galaxy Watch users are taking advantage of this feature to monitor their blood pressure and ECG, gaining a better understanding of their heart health.
