Samsung is done with delivering the October 2024 security update to the Galaxy smartphones, and now the company has shifted its focus to tablets, where the Galaxy Tab S9 series is getting the security update in South Korea.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series has previously received the One UI 6.1.1 version that integrated the August patch; meanwhile, the company has straightly jumped to the October 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 trio.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra have the X710XXS4BXJ7, X810XXS4BXJ7, and X910XXS4BXJ7 firmware versions, while the update measures roughly 335 MB. Although the update is solely a bug-fixing update that doesn’t come with any major features or changes,.

Moreover, Samsung is currently rolling out the October security patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 series in South Korea, while the update is expected to follow the other eligible regions soon.
