Samsung introduced two of its highly appreciated notes—the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra—back in 2020. Right after covering the European countries, the company has begun delivering the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US market.
The new software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can be identified with the N981USQSAHXJ1 and N986USQSAHXJ1 firmware versions; however, it’s currently available to the Verizon carrier-locked models and will follow other carriers shortly.
Although the October 2024 security update is a minor security and bug fixing patch that brings a lot of improvements to the device overall security, improves device stability, fixes all the security-related vulnerabilities, and includes the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users while also protecting their devices from external harms.
Additionally, the update further includes several relevant enhancements for the device overall functionality, offers a wide range of additional improvements, brings stability to the system behavior, and enhances and optimizes performance that significantly lead to a better, smoother, and much optimized software experience.
Currently, US Galaxy Note 20 owners can now download the latest version on their device when available, while the update will reach the other markets soon.
