Samsung Galaxy Watch users get ready to receive a pair of new features and the new Google Contacts Wear OS Tile, as the company could offer these new features with the coming software update.

Google with the October Pixel Drop offers a couple of new features and the new Google Contacts Wear OS Tile to its Pixel watches. The individual contacts tile will be significant to showcase a person’s name and profile picture and the quick actions button for calling and messaging.

This new tile will let you instantly access and contact your favorite contacts straight from their watch face. In case there are various numbers associated with a contact, you will get a picker (with labels), and it will allow you to place multiple individual contacts to the left or right of your watch face.

On the Pixel Watches, the new Individual Contact Tile is available with the dedicated version 1.64 of Google Contacts for Wear OS. The update is available on the on-device Play Store, joining the existing Favorite Contacts Tile.

Apart from this, the Pixel Drop offers the ability to “send and vide select emoji reactions to Gmail notifications and in the Gmail app directly from your Pixel Watch,” however, this has yet to live.

On the other side, Samsung could offer these new features to its Galaxy watches in any coming minor software update. Currently, the company is busy rolling out the latest One UI 6 Watch update to its eligible Galaxy devices. Currently, only the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 6 series are running the One UI 6 Watch update.
