Google Might Share “Quick Share” with iPhones and Macs soon

Apple is setting up to adopt Google’s Quick Share to make it available on iOS and macOS to make file sharing possible between any Android and iPhone easily.
Google’s file-sharing tool, which was originated by Samsung, might soon be available on iOS and macOS. If this report comes true, then it will be quite convenient and bridge the sharing gap between Android and iPhone. A recent bug fix in the Nearby Connections API, which powers Quick Share, hints at the possibility.
According to one of our colleagues, Android Authority, Google fixed a bug that potentially paved the way for Quick Share’s launch on iOS and macOS. This fix addresses an issue with device name localization, which is key for a seamless user experience on these platforms.
Regarding this, Google engineers stated that the bug was fixed, particularly Quick Share on iOS and macOS. This suggests that Google is gearing up to bring a Quick Share client for iPhones and Macs. However, there are no official words from Google exactly when it will make this feature available on iOS and macOS.
Originally Quick Share was developed by Samsung to streamline file sharing between Galaxy devices; now it’s merged with Google’s Nearby Share and started expanding to a wider range of Android devices. If the report comes into existence, then soon it will be making its reach on iOS and macOS also, which will result in file sharing between Android and iPhone users will become a lot easier upgrading productivity for everyone.
