Samsung Might Restore the GIF Capture Feature in the One-Hand Operation app in the future

While the One UI 6.1.1 update was leveraged with a lot of new features, it tended to remove the GIF feature from Smart Select; however, Samsung reverted it via the latest update of the Samsung Capture app. Meanwhile, the company claims to offer the GIF feature capture feature back to Good Lock’s One Hand Operation.
Due to the structure revamp of Smart Select, it was difficult to implement the functionality of the GIF feature within Select; thus, Samsung brought it back with Samsung Capture; however, the feature was further removed in the One-Hand Operation app as well.
Meanwhile, The company elaborated that the GIF capture feature was removed in the recent One UI 6.1.1 update as it was already integrated into the AI Select feature. Taking the One-Hand Operation app in particular, the GIF feature helps to connect various functions offered by the app to be seamlessly executed with several gestures.

Also, if the GIF feature is being deleted, it also affects the functionality of the gestures, thus deleting them as well as how they are connected with each other in the One-Hand Operation app. Alternatively, Samsung further stated that it might provide this GIF feature back within the One-Hand Operation app in the future when the existing functionalities of the app will get restored.
However, until restoration, the One-Hand Operation app will not be able to offer the GIF feature on its own. Thus, Galaxy users will have to wait, at least until Samsung itself brings back the feature to the Good Lock’s One-Hand Operation app.
