Samsung is expected to start the Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta program next week, and the update is expected to introduce a new Nowbar Live Notifications feature.

Samsung has yet to release the official changelog of the One UI 7, despite that leaks and rumors have already disclosed almost all the tweaks, improvements, and features of the update. Now a new report is claiming that Samsung will introduce a new feature called Nowbar with the update.

Reportedly, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update could bring a Nowbar feature that will display live activities on the lock screen. Users may be able to access the settings of Nowbar Live Notifications. A tipster @chunvn8888, on X, shared a post claiming that the Nowbar will have multiple interactive elements for applications.

Samsung could offer a new pill-shaped feature, ‘Nowbar,’ which will showcase live updates for applications such as Google Maps and timers and will also house health tracking data. Users can easily manage and view the live notifications by accessing the Nowcard settings. The reason behind this new change is to streamline the notification experience on Galaxy devices.

However, there are no official words regarding this new feature; it remains to see whether this feature will come into existence with the One UI 7

It’s reported that Samsung will start the One UI 7 beta program next week, initially in the US and Korea. Recently, the company released the One UI 7 beta forum on the US community for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series, hinting at the near release.
