Samsung recently introduced a new foldable phone under the brand new title, named the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, with a 200MP main camera. Now it is gearing up for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which may not feature the 200MP camera of the newly launched SE foldable.

Samsung introduced its sixth-generation foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now gearing up for a seventh-generation foldable phone: the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Apart from these two devices, the company is also working on other foldable phones, including the Galaxy tri-fold phone and the foldable FE variant.

Now a well-reliable tipster teased that Samsung may not offer a 200MP camera to its next-gen Galaxy Z Fold 7. This means that the company is not looking forward to expanding Fold SE’s 200MP to the upcoming foldable phone.

The current Galaxy Z Fold 6’s triple camera setup includes a 50MP wide, a 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. However, the company has yet to release official words regarding the camera setup of the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, so we can’t blindly trust this prediction, at least for now.

According to the previous report, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be Samsung’s slimmest foldable phone in the Galaxy family and is expected to be powered by an in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.
