Samsung initiated the November 2024 security update rollout almost a month ago with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, while it hit the carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S23 units in the first week itself. Meanwhile, Samsung has started rolling out the 2nd November security patch for the series in the US.

Interestingly, the Verizon carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have started getting a new software update that significantly integrates the November 2024 security update again in the USA.

The latest update for the 2023 flagship series has been delivered with the S911USQU5CXJRS916USQU5CXJR, and S918USQU5CXJR firmware versions.

On the update’s end, the changelog, however, doesn’t list any major features or changes. The November patch consists of several key improvements for the overall system performance that will deliver a much improved user experience. It certainly helps Galaxy devices to strengthen security for a safer experience.

Furthermore, the security update also fixes a few known issues that were left in the previous update, optimizes user experience, brings stability and reliability to the system behavior, and applies the latest security patches that will lead to a stable, smooth, and bug-free user experience.

Currently, this 2nd November software update is only rolling out for the Verizon carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S23 owners in the US, while you can now install the latest version on your devices when available.
