Samsung is aggressively preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 series early next year, and now it has spotted on an FCC listing that unveiled the surprising downgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series models have already been spotted online on different certifications; now the entire series has made its existence on the FCC listing, which confirms the key specs and unveils a downgrade as compared to its predecessor.
According to 91mobiles, all three models of the Galaxy S25 series appeared on the FCC listing with dedicated US model numbers, which are mentioned below:
- Galaxy S25 – SM-931U
- Galaxy S25+ – SM-936U
- Galaxy S25 Ultra – SM-938U
All three devices will feature the latest connectivity novelties: 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. Apart from these devices, the S-Pen also made an appearance with model number EJ-PS938. The listing revealed that the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will include UWB support.
Noticeably, the base variant, the Galaxy S25, is listed with a travel adapter model number EP-TA800, which hints at the 25W wired charging, but the listing also hints at a potential downgrade to just 9W wireless charging.
The Plus and Ultra variants are tested with the EP-T2510 travel adapter, which suggests 45W wired fast charging. It remains to be seen whether the company will release the base Galaxy S25 with this potential downgrade.
