A few days ago, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro Bluetooth models hit the stable One UI 6 Watch-based on Google’s Wear OS 5 version in South Korea. Now, the LTE models join the list too.

Samsung has started progressing the stable One UI 6 Watch version for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro LTE units again in its home country; however, the build for both the Bluetooth and LTE models is expected to be directed to more public users shortly.

Meanwhile, the new software version for the Galaxy Watch 5 series, including the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, carries the CXK1 version number while also integrating the October 2024 security patch; thus, the beta builds for the watches have ultimately come to an end with the stable release.

Although the official notice has clearly clarified that with this release to the Watch 5 series’ LTE units, the beta program will no longer be available for those who have participated in the beta phase. Also, more updates will be released sequentially. At the same time, the latest Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch version brings some selective Galaxy AI features borrowed from Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models.

Alternatively, the update eventually improves both the existing features, including more personalized health insights, improved energy scores, new and advanced sleep apnea features, and more. In addition, the update further integrates the October 2024 security patch for providing a more secure user experience while also protecting the Galaxy watch from external threats and harms.
