Samsung debuted its sixth-generation foldable devices this year and is supposed to debut the seventh-generation foldable Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 next year with new display upgrades.
Samsung is rapidly expanding its novelties with its foldable devices to compete with its Chinese rivals. Now, to stand strong against its competitors, it is looking forward to upgrading the display for its coming foldable smartphones.
If the report is to be believed, the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will get significant hardware upgrades, including bigger screens. A tipster, Ross Young, claimed that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature bigger screens as compared to their predecessors.
According to the report, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch foldable screen similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. Whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to feature a 6.85-inch foldable display and a 4-inch cover screen. On the comparison side, the current Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch foldable screen and a 3.4-inch cover screen.
These upgrades should be beneficial for Samsung as they will offer much-needed space to put bigger batteries in the devices. However, there are no official words regarding this upgrade; at least for now, it remains to be seen whether this report will come true.
