Samsung detailed the new Android security bulletin for the December month a while ago. However, some Galaxy devices have already been enjoying the update in different parts of the world. Meanwhile, the company is now rolling out the December 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 FE in Europe.
The update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been marked with the S721BXXS3AXK6 version number. Also, the update will reach other eligible markets shortly.
As usual, Samsung has introduced a lot of improvements to the system security. It fixes all the vulnerabilities that are addressed within the previous version, all while protecting the device against several potential threats and harms that will significantly lead to a more safe and secure user experience.
The key highlight of the update is the newly added auto-blocker. When the Auto Blocker is enabled with the maximum restrictions, it will not allow USB devices to connect to the Galaxy devices and can only be used for charging purposes. Simultaneously, Samsung is constantly working on improving the Auto Blocker functionality for more enhanced security of the Galaxy ecosystem.
Moreover, the latest security update further adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings various performance optimizations, applies the latest patches, and delivers more improved features for offering smooth, stable, and efficient performance to the users.
