Finally, Samsung allows US Galaxy users to record calls via the Call Transcripts feature with the One UI 7.

Noticeably, Samsung has already offered an auto call recording feature to its Galaxy smartphone, but due to legal restrictions, the company barred it on the US models. Now finally with the One UI 7, users can record their calls via the Call Transcript feature on their Galaxy phones in the USA.

Since the call recording feature has been included in the legal restriction, Samsung is offering a way to record voice calls in One UI 7 with the new feature called Call Transcripts, which allows users to start recording an ongoing voice call manually. When you start recording the call, the phone will inform both users that the call is being recorded.

After the call is recorded, users will get its audio file and its AI-generated transcription. Currently, the call transcripts feature supports 20 languages, which helps to make the call recording smarter with AI capabilities.

The newly launched Call Transcripts with One UI 7 offers transcription for recorded phone call conversations. It automatically transcribes recorded phone calls to deliver a text version of users’ conversations. Users can easily use this feature only if they have the call recording enabled inside the call settings; then a transcript will automatically generate with the call recording in an ongoing call.
