Samsung is constantly rolling out the latest security update to the Galaxy smartphones and tablets in different parts of the world. The December 2024 security update hit the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 last week in South Korea, followed by the US and European markets as well. Now, the company started delivering the security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is receiving December 2024 Security Patch as its first update with the F958NKSS2AXKC firmware version and roughly measures 373.64MB.

Meanwhile, the December 2024 security update significantly addresses several improvements for the system security while also fixing other relevant bugs and issues, with no new features or changes. It eventually helps users to have a secure user experience alongside protecting the device against external threats and potential harms.

Alternatively, the update further fixes various high and critical issues, adds stability and reliability to the system behavior for a stable and efficient performance, brings certain performance optimizations, applies the latest patches, and delivers much improved features that offer a smooth, stable, and optimized performance and functionality to the Galaxy users.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition units have started receiving the December patch in South Korea, while the update will follow the other eligible regions shortly.
