While Samsung Germany has accidentally revealed the most awaited One UI 7 version, the company has recently started delivering the latest December 2024 security update to the Galaxy devices, as the 6th-gen foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, are receiving the new security update in South Korea.
Two days back, Samsung detailed the new Android security bulletin for the December month. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 become the first models to receive the December 2024 Security patch, with the F956NKSS2AXKC and F741NKSS2AXKC firmware versions.
The December 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 measures 375.32 MB.Though the update doesn’t pack major features or changes, it brings a lot of significant improvements for the overall system security for a secure experience for the users and fixes all the security vulnerabilities, all while keeping the device from external threats and harm.
On the opposite side, the update further adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings certain performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and delivers much improved features to offer a more secure, stable, and optimized user experience.
Moreover, Samsung has started rolling out the December patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 currently in South Korea, while it’s expected to reach the other regions shortly.
