Samsung One UI 7 Calendar and Reminder app receiving new features with the latest update
Samsung presented an exciting app icon redesign for the Samsung Calendar and Reminder with the Android 15-based One UI 7 version.
Now, spotted via the Galaxy Store, the company is rolling out a new update for the Calendar and Reminder applications that significantly brings a lot of interesting features and improvements.
Samsung Calendar and Reminder App Get New Update After One UI 7 Beta
First up, the newest version for the Samsung Calendar has been released with the 12.6.00.40 build number and carries an update size of 22.96MB. This update features a lot of new features, including the ability to drag and move an event directly to any of your desired dates, and the Calendar widget receives a new management option that displays only the events from a specific calendar.
Simultaneously, the Calendar app further received a new feature that will allow Galaxy users to add a countdown widget on the event details screen and, lastly, added a functionality to move events to the other calendars all at once. Therefore, users will get a much improved experience that also aims to offer convenience to them.
Alternatively, the Samsung Reminder app is also receiving the latest update that can be identified with the 12.6.00.34 version number and packs an update size of 18.40MB. The update adds a multiple date selection feature when setting a repetitive reminder (for every month/year), while also adding the capability that will automatically delete reminders that are already completed.
On the opposite side, the update further adds a new time and place preset button under the Quick Add menu, and at last, it brings a duplicate feature for completed and deleted reminders.
Moreover, with the aforementioned update, Samsung appears to be aiming to offer a smooth, convenient, and much-optimized user experience while also combining more powerful tools to enhance overall functionality and performance.
