Samsung is actively preparing to debut the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in 2025 and is supposed to launch the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026. The series is expected to bring back Exynos chipsets.

It is almost confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series is entirely powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite worldwide; this means that Samsung is ditching its in-house Exynos chipset. Although, initially, it was rumored that in a particular region, Samsung could use Exynos 2500 to power the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, later the new report hints at the Snapdragon to power the entire series worldwide.

Samsung could bring back the Exynos with the future Galaxy S26 series. According to a well-reliable tipster, Jukanlosreve shared a post on X that claims that Samsung is planning to “significantly” use its in-house Exynos chips to power the Galaxy S26 series.

However, it’s quite early to discuss the Galaxy S26 series since the Galaxy S25 has yet to launch. Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding the chipset of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S26.

Noticeably, a few days ago, Samsung officially confirmed the Exynos 2600 cancellation rumor was false. Somehow this hints that the Galaxy S26 series could be powered by Exynos 2600.
