One UI 7 Beta Arrives with Mixed Reviews Due to Bugs

Samsung released the One UI 7 beta after a long delay just to make it more stable and bugless, but the beta users are facing issues and bugs. Here we are counting all the One UI 7 Beta bugs and issues.

Samsung Galaxy S24 users in the US, UK, Korea, and Germany received the One UI 7 Beta update. After installing the One UI 7 Beta, users started reporting that they were facing a few bugs and issues on their devices, which are as follows:

One UI 7 Animation ‘Flash’ bug

A few days ago, several One UI 7 beta users reported that they are experiencing a “flash” bug that has three different variants. The issue is affecting the smooth and flawless animation that occurs while opening two applications in quick succession and then a brief flicker or flash on the screen.

However, it’s reported that the company has acknowledged the issue and claims to release a fix with the coming One UI 7 beta version. 

One UI 7 compatibility issue with Android Auto

Some of the One UI 7 beta users have reported a new issue with Android Auto that forces the system to disconnect during navigation, reverting to the car’s home screen. Noticeably, Samsung has acknowledged the issue with One UI 7 causing compatibility issues with a few Android Auto versions and claimed that it will release a fix with the stable version.

One UI 7 Good Lock Home Up issue

One UI 7 Beta user reported that they are facing a kind of inconvenience issue while opening the Good Lock HomeUp app. The bug forces the app not to open and flashes a screen that says, “HomeUP is being renewed!  See you soon.” Alongside HomeUp, several other Good Lock apps are currently not compatible with the One UI 7 beta. Hopefully, Samsung will fix this issue with the upcoming beta version and make the rest of the apps compatible.

However, Samsung is actively working on speedily acknowledging the One UI 7 Beta issue and also claiming to release the fix with the upcoming beta version. The Galaxy S24 users who are looking forward to joining the One UI 7 beta program should know these bugs before installing the update.
