One UI December 2024 Update: Samsung Galaxy Devices Receiving It

Samsung has begun rolling out the December 2024 security update, focusing on fixing system security and stability improvements. While the majority of Galaxy devices have already received the update, others are waiting for their turn. As the process of delivering the security patches happens gradually in certain batches, Samsung has to cover a wide range of smartphones.
Beginning with the 6th generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 being the first models to taste the update, Samsung’s December security patch has hit a good deal of Galaxy devices till now.
Security patches are accustomed to several significant security patches and fixes for all the severe vulnerabilities that protect the device against external potential attacks, with no new features or changes involved. Alongside including sparse patches from both Google and Samsung, the update further brings fixes for several Galaxy apps and services too.

Alternatively, the update package significantly brings a good deal of CVE items, including 6 critical, 28 high-level, one CVE already included in the previous updates, and lastly, one patch is not applicable to Samsung devices. Thus, Galaxy users will get a more secure, stable, and optimized performance with the latest update.
To add more to it, Samsung itself brought 8 key vulnerabilities and exposures that aim to offer additional safety to the users while also improving the functionalities of Settings, DeX Mode, ThemeCenter, Smart Touch Call, Gaming Hub, SmartSwitch, and Quick Share Agent.
