Samsung Galaxy users have started receiving the latest update for the Samsung Capture app that combines more useful yet comprehensive capabilities for a smoother experience.
In the recent past, Samsung allegedly removed the GIF creation tool from the Smart Select Edge Panel due to the inconvenience faced by the Galaxy audience right after updating their devices with the One UI 6.1.1 version. Fortunately, the company reverted the tool with the previous Samsung Capture app update.
Recently, a new update for the Samsung Capture app has been spotted that combines the support of the Android 15-based One UI 7 version alongside a few other new features and improvements. The update can be recognized with the 5.9.57.1 firmware version as per third-party source and it also mention the app target version is Android 15.
Therefore, the changelog for the app update brings much improved usability of the existing Sketch to Image features while also improving the useful Smart Select functionality for a sophisticated user experience. Alternatively, the update further adds various fixes for the text overlapping issue in certain languages and improves the visibility of the Pin icon in Dark Mode.
Specifically, this newest update for the Samsung Capture app adds the support of the Android 15-based One UI 7 version, which brings better features and functionality. Although this support will currently only be applicable for the Galaxy S24 series owners as they are testing the One UI 7 beta phase in different parts of the world.
