One of the best and most interesting aspects of Samsung is the intuitive connectivity across its entire Galaxy ecosystem. This allows Galaxy users to take full advantage of plenty of features and improvements. Moving forward, Samsung’s latest Android 15-based One UI 7 version treats users with a much improved Continue apps on other devices by adding a new camera continuity function.
In case you missed it! Samsung introduced the ability that allows Galaxy users to continue their applications on other connected devices. In simple words, it lets users pick up from the exact point where they left off on their smartphones with their connected Galaxy books via Samsung Internet or Samsung Notes.
Now, as per the details presented by Android Authority, designed to offer more sophisticated workflows to the audience across their Galaxy phones and Galaxy Books, Samsung with the One UI 7 adds a new “Camera continuity” feature to the existing “Continue apps on other devices.” This newly added element will significantly allow users to take a picture or scan a document on their Galaxy phones and continue from where they left off on other devices like Galaxy Books or PCs that are signed into their Samsung Account.

Alternatively, the Camera Continuity feature will only work when the user is continuing to work in apps like Samsung Notes and Samsung Internet on their smartphones, while in order to use this feature, the user’s devices need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and have their Bluetooth turned on.

Currently, the Camera Continuity feature is only live on Samsung Galaxy S24 devices testing One UI 7 Beta 2 version; however, there is no sign of this feature being active on other devices, hinting that the latest OS update and device are probably required.
