Samsung Galaxy S25 series is just a countable days away from debuting at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January next year, and Samsung Insider confirms that the entire series will skip Exynos 2500.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series’s chipset has been a hot topic among the fan community for so long since sometimes leaks suggest the company will use Exynos 2500 to power the series and sometimes say against it.

An official report confirmed that Samsung will start mass production for the Exynos 2500 next year and is almost expected to use the chipset to power the next generation Galaxy Z Flip 7. This means that the company is all set to skip the Exynos for the Galaxy S25 series.

The reason behind this seems to be that the company’s 3nm (2nd-gen) process has stabilized to some extent. It will also break Qualcomm’s monopoly, which has been dominating Samsung’s foldable smartphone segment for so long. The company is also rumored to produce 229.4 million smartphones next year, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is targeted for up to 3 million units.

The above discussion suggests that the upcoming flagship Galaxy S25 series will entirely be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite globally. It will be interesting to see exactly what will happen next.
