One UI 7 to Include Samsung’s New Camera Share Feature

Samsung is setting up to release the stable One UI 7 update soon, which is expected to bring a Camera Share feature to let you use your Galaxy smartphone’s camera as a webcam for Galaxy Book.
Reportedly, Samsung is expected to roll out the next One UI 7 beta by the end of this week; it remains to see whether the expectation will come true. A new report suggests that the coming One UI 7 update will bring a new convenient feature called Camera Share.
A well-reliable tipster, @GerwinvGiessen, shared a post on X, revealing that One UI 7 will bring a new Camera Share feature currently under development. However, for now, it’s unclear whether the company will offer this feature in the stable or beta version.
If the report is to be believed, Galaxy Book users can use the Camera Share feature to enhance video quality during live video calls via their phone’s high-end camera, which will deliver a better experience as compared to built-in webcams on laptops.
Noticeably, this new feature will be compatible with any application that uses a webcam or camera, even including Windows’ built-in Camera application. For now, the company is still working on the Camera Share feature, so it can’t be predicted exactly how much it will take to release it, but it seems that by the stable One UI 7, Samsung will make the feature live.
