Samsung Galaxy S22 Bootloop Fix? Users Try Freezing Their Phones

Samsung Galaxy S22 users are trying a wired but effective way to fix a boot looping issue to revive their phone and backup & retrieve their data.
Samsung debuted the Galaxy S22 series back in 2022, and it has already been two successful years since the smartphones of the series delivered impressive performance. Now Galaxy S22 users are reporting that they are facing random boot loops on their smartphones, for which the company is exchanging out motherboards at a cost since the device has already completed its warranty period.
However, users seem to stand strong against the issue by trying a wired freezing technique to overcome the boot loop issue. A Reddit user ran into an issue where his Galaxy S22 instantly started bootlooping. Reportedly, users dealing with this issue put their phone in a freezer, which helps revive the phone out of the boot loop temporarily. Noticeably, it is a widespread issue, as many reports have come into existence (1, 2, 3, 4).
Another Reddit user reported that, after reviving the phone via freezing from the boot loop, it again went back into a boot loop once it had started heating up and eventually got a green line issue as well.
Apart from this, Reddit and Samsung’s community forums also discussed the same issue and its weird temporary solution. Noticeably, this wired solution also apparently comes from YouTuber WorldofTech, who posted about it back in March 2022.
However, after acknowledging the issue, Samsung stopped selling the Galaxy S22 series a while ago. Consequently, Samsung’s customer care service regarding this issue says a relatively large sum for a motherboard swap. It remains to see exactly what will happen next.
