Samsung is aggressively taking steps in the AI industry to maintain its leading legacy; currently, it has announced an AI-powered robot named Ballie.

Initially, the Korean giant released a sneak peek at the AI-powered robot, Ballie, back in 2022 at the CES as a home robot concept that could one day roam your home. After a long last year, again at the CES, the company brought it back and shared that it was offering the device, a projector that can stream information and content onto different surfaces. A tipster on revealed that Samsung has announced the 2025 model of Ballie.

Finally, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Samsung is all set to announce that it will ship the rolling robot this year in the US. Currently, the price and the exact timeline are unclear, but most probably during one presentation, the Wall-E-like robot will be compatible with sharing information about Las Vegas attractions, turning on lights, and several smart home devices by voice command.

Samsung announced that it will make the Ballie available to buy later this year. It is based on Tizen OS, has three wheels to help it roam around in your home or move, and features a pair of cameras (2K rear camera & 4K front camera), a front FHD triple-laser projector, speakers, a microphone, and pairs of sensors (LiDAR & ToF sensors) to create a three-dimensional map of your home, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity.

It’s expected that the company will reveal more details regarding the Ballie by the end of this year.
