Android Auto 13.5 begins rolling out, brings support for Motorcycle EVs

Android Auto is one of the best services and a smart driving companion offered by Google that significantly helps smartphone owners to connect their phones to their car’s in-built system for a smooth and convenient user experience. While the platform is indeed packed with various interesting features, Google has started rolling out a new 13.5 version, which is currently in its beta phase.
In the recent past, Google has released a great deal of new and interesting features for Android Auto, from adding support for more EV cars to a refreshed media player design.
Android Auto 13.5 Adds EV Motorcycle Compatibility in Latest Beta Update
Now, the first update for 2025 for Android Auto 13.5 beta has been spotted rolling out for the users, but the best part is that this version especially adds support for motorcycles (non-cars). Since Google is aimed at improving Android Auto’s support for vehicles that are not cars, though the app’s interface lists this update as for motorcycles, which can be easily seen via the app’s settings.
The new 13.5 beta update adds support for motorcycles with some new icons that describe their brands, including Geely, Leap, Lucid, and Indian brand TVS. Alternatively, Google further appears to be integrating support for high-resolution displays soon that could range from 2560x1440p to 3840x2160p; however, for now, the support is limited to 1920x1080p.
Although the latest Android Auto 13.5 version is rolling out for the beta users, it severely suggests that all the above-mentioned changes and more new enhancements will certainly make their way to the Android Auto users in the future updates.
