Samsung is yet to release the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 and is still working on it to make it more flawless and seamless. Here’s when to expect the stable One UI 7 on your Galaxy devices.

Last month (December 2024), Samsung started the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in selected regions, and until now it has released three betas. Reportedly, the company is not even looking to expand the beta program for older flagship Galaxy devices this time. And it is still continuously working on One UI 7 and is not even ready to unveil the exact timeline for the stable release.

It’s highly anticipated that the coming Galaxy S25 series, which will debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event this month, will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. If this expectation comes true, then the stable One UI 7 version will be introduced this month.

Usually, Samsung releases the latest major OS updates to its new flagship devices and then expands it to the rest of the eligible Galaxy devices. If the expectations regarding the One UI 7 stable release meet reality, then most probably, the company will start rolling out the One UI 7 to older flagships, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5, next month.

Once the company finishes the One UI 7 rollout to flagship devices, as soon as possible it will start expanding the update to mid-range and other eligible devices. However, there’s no official word regarding the stable release of Android 15-based One UI 7, so for now it’s hard to predict any particular timeline, but it will be interesting to see how much more time the company will take to introduce the stable version.
