Samsung has begun rolling out the January 2025 security update for Galaxy phones in different parts of the world. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A54, alongside Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 units, has started receiving the patch in Europe.

The January 2025 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 has started expanding to Europe, while the Galaxy A54 units are getting the update for the first time. The update is currently available in some European countries like Spain and the UK, which will be expanded to more regions shortly.

Whereas the update for the foldables comes with the F936BXXU9GXK8 and F721BXXU9GXK8 version numbers, at the same time, the update for the Galaxy A54 models can be identified with the A546BXXSBCYA2 software version.

While Samsung has already detailed the Android patch for the January month that significantly allows users to know exactly what’s fixed, apart from this, the update, however, doesn’t introduce any new features or changes. The key highlight is that it combines all the fixes that are addressed in the previous version via the patches brought by Google and Samsung collectively.

It allows users to have a safe and secure experience while also protecting the device against potential harms. It helps to offer a more efficient performance and functionality.

Accompanied by security patches, the update further adds stability and reliability to the overall system behavior, brings various performance optimizations, applies all the latest security patches, and offers more improved features and functionality that in turn allows users to have a more smooth, bug-free, and optimized experience.
