One UI 7.1 Update Confirmed with New AI Features Expected in Q2, 2025

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series made its debut with Android 15-based One UI 7, out of the box, with its flagship S lineup always being lined up for One UI x.1 iteration, which brought about an impressive collection of AI features, making the newest series a true AI partner. Samsung has confirmed about the One UI 7.1 update existence and it could coming soon.

Well, the company is going to end the ongoing One UI 7 beta program soon, and a recent report hints that Samsung may be planning to release One UI 7.1 update in Q2, 2025.

One UI 7.1 does exist! Earlier leaks have already made it clear that Samsung has some interesting plans regarding the next iteration, the One UI 7.1 update, and who knows, the company is already working on implementing the newest version into its eligible Galaxy devices in the future. 

It’s likely that Samsung’s One UI 7.1 Update will arrive sooner than expected!

Meanwhile, One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series arrives with a wide range of AI features that offer a powerful user experience with enhanced security. Alternatively, a new leak shared by FamilyTaes on X suggests that Samsung may launch the One UI 7.1 somewhere in Q2, 2025, while also claiming that the newer One UI x.1 version will be packed with even more AI features than the S25 series, out of the box. 

He further stated that the stable One UI 7 build is going to hit the older Galaxy S series, including the S24 and S23 lineup, somewhere in February. Apart from this, when it comes to the features, the older Galaxy smartphones that support One UI 7 should receive the majority of some basic AI features like Now Brief and probably the Gemini integration; however, most of them will only be exclusive to the S25 series.

Another aspect further confirms the arrival of One UI 7.1: the Try Galaxy, which is substantially a progressive web application that allows users to simulate the One UI interface and experience on their Android phones. Also, when opening the Try Galaxy app, it is now displaying: “Try Galaxy is a simulation of Samsung Galaxy One UI 7.1.”. This certainly indicates that the company has already started work on the next One UI x.1 iteration.
