Samsung is actively expanding its February 2025 security patch to more devices, currently rolling out for the Galaxy Tab S10 5G.
The Korean tech giant has already delivered this month’s security patch to several Galaxy devices (list), including the Galaxy Tab S9 in Europe, and is currently rolling it out for the Galaxy Tab S10 series in Korea, specifically for 5G variants. The dedicated version numbers are as follows:
- Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra—X926NKOS2AYB1
- Galaxy Tab S10+ – X826NKOS2AYB1
For the Wi-Fi variants, the update is available with separate version numbers—
- Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra: X920XXS2AYB1
- Galaxy Tab S10 Plus: X820XXS2AYB1
The February 2025 security update is just a little over 331.82 MB; it has a bunch of essential fixes that were recommended by both Samsung and Google. The update addresses all the bugs and security vulnerabilities from the previous version, ensuring seamless performance.
Apart from bugs and fixes, the company has upgraded the system security with the update to add an extra layer of privacy to enhance users’ secure experience. The patch also improves the stability and reliability of the device to perform better functionality.
Last week Samsung delivered the February 2025 security patch to the Galaxy Tab S8 in its hometown, South Korea; it’s expected that soon it will expand the update to more Galaxy devices widely.
