Galaxy Tab S8 European Users Can Update their Device to the February 2025 Security Patch

Samsung’s February 2025 security update rollout is currently underway, as the majority of devices have received it so far. The update hit the Galaxy Tab S8 series in South Korea a few days ago; this time the company is expanding the update for 8th-generation tablets in European countries.
The key highlight to note here is that the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra is available for both Wi-Fi and 5G units and can be identified with their respective build numbers, as stated below:
- Tab S8 (Wi-Fi): X700XXS9CYB1, X800XXS9CYB1, and X900XXS9CYB1
- Tab S8 (5G): X706BXXS9CYB1, X806BXXS9CYB1, and X906BXXS9CYB1
The software, however, is merely a small flashy update that doesn’t bring any major features and changes, but it brings a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous versions, which aim to offer a more safe and secure user experience while also protecting the device’s overall security and core functionality against potential threats.
On the other hand, the update enhances system stability, optimizes performance, and applies the latest security patches, all of which contribute to a smooth, stable, and optimized user experience.
Moreover, the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series is currently going live in South Korea and Europe; thus, users can now download the latest version on their devices when available.
