Samsung Members App Will No Longer Work on Older Galaxy Phones

Samsung Members is a useful application that allows users to get directly linked to the company’s official community to receive some useful information and updates regarding both ongoing and upcoming software. Meanwhile, the company is ending Samsung Members support for devices operating on Android 7 OS or earlier.
Samsung to Discontinue Members App Support for Android 7 and Older Devices
The Members operation team has officially announced (via community forums) that right after 1st April 2025, due to certain changes performed in the Samsung Members service operation policy, the Members app support will end for the Galaxy smartphones running Android 7 (Nougat OS) or earlier OS versions.
Alternatively, once the service ends, users will no longer be able to use the Members app on the corresponding operating systems. Also, from now on, the Samsung Members app will be compatible with the Galaxy devices operating on Android 8 (Oreo) or higher.
Thus, in order to avoid the inconvenience of permanently shutting down, users are advised to update their devices to the latest software version if their device is eligible for that.
Apart from this, Samsung constantly updates the Members app so that the Galaxy community could not miss a single piece of information regarding their smartphones. However, Samsung is yet to provide a statement about the stable One UI 7 release for Galaxy S24 series owners, which is still running in beta phase, with two new 4th beta hotfixes already released.
