NVIDIA join hands with Samsung for next-gen GPUs

Samsung Foundry could collaborate with NVIDIA to produce its next-generation gaming graphics processing units (GPUs).

Samsung Foundry has a golden chance to back in the game with a massive win by collaborating with NVIDIA to produce its future gamin graphics processing units. The Korean tech brand is already struggling hard with yield rates with its Exynos processors and in mid of this securing clients like Nvidia should efficiently increase Samsung’s foundry business.

Colette Kress, NVIDIA’s Chief Financial officer stated (via); “Gaming GPU shipments in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 (November 2024-January 2025) were affected by supply chain disruptions”

Noticeably, NVIDIA struggled hard with a shortage of GPUs and also faced supply chain disruptions in recent days. Nvidia is struggling to produce enough graphics cards due to a shortage of necessary parts, which forces the firm to use Samsung as a GPU manufacturer for future products to avoid relying solely on TSMC.

The Korean tech has already provided GDDR7 memory chips for Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPUs and also implemented a dual-track approach to the process of creating innovative 2nm and 3nm processes as well as luring 4nm and 5nm clients simultaneously. It will be interesting to see whether this collaboration will come into existence and how efficient it will be for both brands.
