One UI 7 has been in the spotlight since the software initially entered into its beta channel on 5th December 2024 for the Galaxy S24 series. Well, Samsung’s latest software skin’s journey was very exciting so far; here’s everything you should know in case you have missed a single One UI 7 headline!
First thing first: One UI 7 Beta initiated with the Galaxy S24 series
The Android 15-based One UI 7 beta journey began when Samsung dropped the first beta build for the Galaxy S24 series back on 5th December, 2025, which was then followed with the 2nd on 16th December, the 3rd one on 6th January, 2025; the 4th beta arrived on 19th February, and lastly, the 5th beta commenced on 17th March 2025.
- 1st Beta Build: One UI 7 Beta Program Released on 5th December, 2024 for the Galaxy S24 series
- 2nd Beta Build: Released on 16th December, 2024
- 3rd Beta Build: Released on 6th January, 2025
- 4th Beta Build: Released on 19th February, 2025

One UI 7 Beta expanded to more Galaxy devices
Right after releasing the additional updates (hotfixes), Samsung announced the expansion of One UI 7 Beta for more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, and Galaxy A55 in a few regions. The company initiated the expansion with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 and is following with more devices:
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6
- One UI 7 Beta 1: Released on 6th March, 2025
- One UI 7 Beta 2: Released on 17th March, 2025
Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra
- One UI 7 Beta 1: Released on 13th March, 2025
Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra
- One UI 7 Beta 1: Released on 13th March, 2025
Since the Galaxy A55 is also eligible for getting the One UI 7 beta update, it’s expected that Samsung will soon start rolling out the beta build for this A series model.
Now, One UI 7 Beta 5 is available for the Galaxy S24 lineup
Well, the Galaxy S24 series owners have been testing One UI 7 Beta for a long time, and Samsung has begun the beta 5 rollout for the S24 models. The update apparently brings a host of features and bug fixes; it also introduced an S25-exclusive Samsung Logfeature for the S24 and S24+ devices; however, it was already added within the S24 Ultra devices with the Beta 4 update.
What’s next?
Since Samsung seems to be fast-tracking its One UI 7 rollout process, it’s expected that the company is probably eyeing to begin the stable One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy devices in April anyhow in order to match the previously announced timeline.
