An earlier report suggested that Samsung is preparing itself to expand its rugged phone lineup with a new addition, namely Galaxy XCover 8 Pro. This happened to be true, as the smartphone has already been spotted on BIS certifications; meanwhile, now, a recent appearance reveals that this brand-new rugged smartphone’s launch will go global.

Substantially, according to the information presented by Sammobile, the upcoming Galaxy XCover 8 Pro device has recently appeared on Geekbench certifications that apparently revealed the scores, where it achieved 1157 points on the single-core test and 3288 points on the multi-core test.

The listings display that the newest Galaxy XCover 8 Pro comes up with the SM-G766 model number while also highlighting some of the key specifications of the upcoming rugged device. The listing confirms that the phone will feature One UI 7, which runs Android 15 on top.

Beyond this, the Geekbench further shows up the incorporation of the Adreno 810 GPU, which means that the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset (similar to the previous Galaxy XCover 7 Pro) and offers up to 6GB of RAM.

Alternatively, Samsung appears to be launching the upcoming Galaxy XCover 8 Pro globally as the TUV Rheinland certification offers model numbers of four major regions, including SM-G766B (Europe), SM-G766W (Canada), SM-G766U, and SM-G766U1 (US carrier-locked and unlocked).

As of now, the details are scarce, and it’s likely that the development of the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro is currently underway, or else leaks and rumors will continue to circulate over the coming days.
