Samsung Internet Browser might be next in line to get Chrome’s Gemini feature

Samsung’s latest Gemini-based features have been in fans’ goodbooks, thanks to the company’s collaboration with Google. While the latest Galaxy S25 series emerged as the most powerful model with new Gemini-powered features and the capability is currently limited to Chrome browser; now, it appears like Samsung Internet browser might soon be able to get some Gemini advantage!
Specifically, Google’s Gemini is currently compatible with Google Chrome and can summarize articles, while also attaching URLs for scanning the entire content of webpages.
Now, according to the reports presented by Android Authority, the Samsung Internet browser shows a sign of compatibility with the Gemini’s URL-based summaries of the entire webpage content. However, earlier the Gemini could only be able to take screenshot-based summaries of the content present on the screen. This could apparently change.

The team discovered that while running the Google app’s 16.10.40.sa.arm64 version on Android, it was noticed that the Gemini was seamlessly able to access the entire URL in order to offer more content-rich summaries, and not just the content that’s visible on the screen. Therefore, this could prove to be a welcome bonus for the Galaxy smartphone owners who prefer Samsung Internet over Google Chrome.
Currently, the Gemini capability of Samsung Internet browser seems to be in the process of development, while hopefully Samsung could release the feature soon so that the Galaxy fans could take the advantage of Google and Samsung collaboration.
