One UI 8 could bring features that were supposed to arrive with One UI 7.1

Samsung is busy rolling out the One UI 7.0 currently and is supposed to skip One UI 7.1 and One UI 7.1.1 iterations and directly jump to One UI 8. Here we are counting a few features that were rumoured to be introduced with One UI 7.1, which are now expected to arrive with One UI 8.

Ritually, Samsung, after its major One UI x.0, releases One UI x.1 and One UI x.1.1 software iterations. However, it’s not the case with the One UI 7.0, since the company is looking forward to skipping One UI 7.1 and One UI 7.1.1 to jump to One UI 8.0 directly.

Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding this expectation, but in a few recent weeks, several reports come into existence which hint that the company will move directly to One UI 8.0.  It was also reported that the One UI 7 delay could mean no One UI 7.1.

However, a few features were rumoured to arrive with One UI 7.1, but since the update release is not happening so the features could arrive with the upcoming major software update, One UI 8. Let’s take a closer look at the features that are supposed to arrive with the One UI 8 –

The video object eraser was rumoured to arrive with One UI 7.1, which is a tool that helps to erase or remove unwanted objects from videos easily. Whereas the notification summary was expected to arrive with One UI 7 on the Galaxy  S25. Now, both of these features are expected to arrive with One UI 8, since there is no official information regarding this, it remains to be seen whether these will arrive or not.
